VCT PACIFIC 2024 Opener Delayed 3 Hours Due to Audio Issue; Riot Games Offers Ticket Refunds

Vct Pacific 2024 audio problem caused a three-hour delay in the opening game of VCT PACIFIC 2024, Riot Games announces full refunds for tickets.

The VCT PACIFIC 2024 KICK-OFF, happening in South Korea to qualify for Masters Madrid, started today, February 17th.

However, there was a lengthy delay in the opening match due to audio issues. Riot Games responded by offering full refunds for tickets sold for today’s event.

The T1 vs. Bleed Esports match was supposed to begin at 3:00 PM today but got postponed because of audio problems.

It wasn’t until 5:30 PM, over two hours later, that the organizers announced full refunds through tournament official X.

Broadcasting and matches resumed at approximately 6:15 PM, with the first map, Breeze, currently underway.

Whether the other two matches will proceed remains uncertain, according to the tournament’s official, Masu.

Moreover, the third match between ZETA DIVISION and Global Esports, originally set for 7:00 PM, is likely to start no earlier than 9:00 PM, based on simple calculations.

Last year’s Ascension Tournament also faced delays, with one instance lasting over 8 hours. Nevertheless, the final match of the day against SCARZ took place at 5 AM Japan time.
