VCT PACIFIC 2024 KICK-OFF: Tournament Schedule

Riot Games shared the schedule for the “VCT PACIFIC 2024 KICK-OFF” tournament on January 26th. The action begins on the 17th of the next month, as stated on the official Indonesian website. In the opening match, Japan’s ZETA DIVISION faces off against Global Esports. Simultaneously, DetonatioN FocusMe is set to compete with DRX.

Get ready for the VCT PACIFIC 2024 KICK-OFF, an official tournament by riot games happening in south korea. There are 11 teams playing, including 10 partner teams and the champ, Bleed Esports, who won last year’s Ascension Tournament.

The fun starts on February 17th and goes on till February 25th, lasting for about a week. The top two teams will get a ticket to Masters Madrid!

Here’s the game plan: three stages – group stage, play-in, and playoffs. The best team from each of the 3 groups moves straight to the playoffs, while the 2nd place teams head to the play-ins.

A total of 4 teams will battle it out in the playoffs: 3 groups winners and 1 play-in survivor. It’s going to be a gaming showdown.

Group Stage

  • Eleven teams will be split into three groups: two groups with four teams and one group with three teams.
  • The top-ranked teams in Champions 2023 from each region will form groups of three and get a BYE in the second round.
  • The remaining 10 teams will be sorted into pools based on their 2023 performance, and the last 10 spots will be chosen by lottery.
  • Every group will compete in a BO3 double-elimination bracket.
  • The three winning teams from each group will move on to the playoff stage.
  • The second-place teams from each group will advance to the play-in stage.

Play-In Stage

  • The second-place teams from each group will face off in a round-robin format, and one team will move forward to the playoff stage.

Playoff Stage

  • Four teams will battle in a single-elimination format, and the top two teams will qualify for Masters Madrid.
  • The winner of the kickoff will receive preferred seeding at Masters Madrid.
