Vanity words have improved OXY gameplay significantly, There’s a big gaming event happening in Los Angeles called VCT AMERICAS 2024 KICK-OFF. Players are gearing up for Masters Madrid. In the first round, Cloud9 beat MIBR 2-1.

But what’s getting everyone talking is what Cloud9’s captain, vanity, said to OXY during the game.

OXY is just 18 and started gaming competitively in 2022. He joined Cloud 9 last September, diving into the international scene for the first time. In the recent match against MIBR, he really showed off his skills with two aces and a clutch play.

But in an interview with Dot Esports, vanity mentioned some areas where OXY could improve. He said, “Sometimes OXY talks too much or has too much fun during the game, especially after he’s been taken out.”

But he also praised OXY’s positive attitude. Vanity revealed that one particular piece of advice made a big difference in OXY’s performance.

“I told him about Faker, the player he admires. When we were in Korea for a tournament last year, I asked OXY, ‘Do you know why Faker is so good?’ We explained that Faker doesn’t just rely on his advanced skills. He’s also really good at slowly outmaneuvering his opponents.”

Faker is known for his incredible skill and has won the world championship four times. But what sets him apart is his ability to read the game, understand his opponents, and consistently make the right moves. His timing, map awareness, and decision-making are all top-notch.

“I also talked about FNATIC, another team OXY looks up to. Like Faker, they’re experts at wearing down their opponents slowly.

They might pull off flashy moves occasionally, but mostly they use their opponents’ mistakes against them. They create situations where they have the upper hand and play strategically.”

“At Cloud9, We’re working hard to reach that level of play but our lack of experience leads to small errors, like we saw in this match. Still, I reminded my teammates not to lose hope. Every round counts, especially in valorant.”
