Riot games dropped the news on february 17th that Valorant Champions 2024 is happening in Seoul, South Korea. Yep, it’s the official Riot Games tournament where the best of the best come to battle it out.
This tournament, sponsored by riot games, Kicks off on august 1st and goes on for about three weeks until August 25th, 2024. It’s like the grand finale of the season where we’ll find out who takes home the title of champion for 2024.
Sixteen teams are in the mix, All winners from four international leagues: America, Europe, Asia Pacific, and China. Each league sends their top four teams to face off for the ultimate prize.
Here’s the scoop: It’s the first time the tournament’s hitting Asia! So, unlike the previous years in Berlin, Germany (2021), Istanbul, Turkey (2022), and Los Angeles, America (2023), it’s gonna be a bit easier for our Japanese pals to join in the action.
