NRG Coach Upset Over Skye Nerfs Ahead Of League Start: Plans To Begin Practice A Week Before The Season Next Year.

Riot Games recently released patch 8.01. They did some things like nerfing skye , boosting Iso, and tweaking Breeze’s A hole. But, Chet, the NRG Coach, didn’t like it.

Yesterday, They rolled out patch 8.01. They messed with stuff, like Skye’s guiding light can’t recharge now, And Iso’s double tap got a power-up.

But people aren’t happy with what they did to Skye. Skye’s been getting nerfed since last year Trailblazer’s camera can’t jump, Seeker’s points increased. Some folks say this change is “too much.” Seriously.

Chet, NRG head coach, went on his X (previously Twitter) and said, “Can’t wait for patch 8.02. It’s gonna be like Palworld.” He’s comparing how one patch can totally change things to a game called Pal World that just came out.

He also talked about when the patch drops. Challenger League’s happening in each region, competing for league promotion. We’re less than a month from the start of the International League.

But Chet said, “Next year, we’ll start practicing a week before the season. Professional time isn’t considered at all. Also, they told us about the replay system a while ago, but it’s not here yet.”

He added, “This year, we’ll have five games in one season. That’s a good idea for a company in esports for over 10 years.” People didn’t like the VCT 2024 tournament format too few games in a year. He left a strong comment about it.

Not long ago, he complained about the constant updates before the league new weapon Outlaw, map changes, and Breeze’s A hole opening. He said, “What was the point of the four-month offseason?”

But now, the new patch they announced a few days later made people mad. PBE for Patch 8.02 is next week. What changes will come just before the league starts? People are curious about the future.
