eKo Free Agent: Looking For Team

eKo free agent announcement, known for his performances with Gen.G, REIGNITE, and TOP Esports, shared on February 14th that he’s now a free agent looking for a new team.

On his X profile (formerly Twitter), he mentioned, “I can handle any role except smoke. I’m particularly skilled as an initiator. Also, I speak Japanese fluently.”

At 20 years old, eKo jumped into the valorant scene in 2020. After stints with No Mercy and Quantum Strikers, he joined TNL Esports in November of the same year.

His contributions helped the team reach the playoffs in three consecutive tournaments during VCT 2021 Korea Stage 1, Stage 2, and Stage 3.

However, by November 2021, he shifted to Japan and joined REIGNITE. In VCT 2022 Japan Stage 1, he showcased his exceptional skills and led the team to the playoffs.

Later, in July of the same year, he was loaned to On Sla2ers. Although they secured second place in VCT 2022 EAST ASIA LCQ, they missed out on the world tournament.

Moving forward, in October 2022, he became part of Gen.G, which was gearing up for the International League.

Despite his role as an initiator with Breach and Sova, the team finished 4th in VCT PACIFIC 2023, narrowly missing out on the world championships.

Additionally, he joined China’s TOP Esports in September of last year. While they made it to the 8th place in Valorant China Evolution Series Act 3, the team disbanded after failing in the partner selection process.
